Making Your Own Barbecue Dry Rubs Seasoning

When putting together barbecue dry rubs. Start with a base spice or herb like chilly powder or rosemary. You can also use your favorite off the shelf seasoning like Cavender's or Tony's. Then stretch it in a direction of taste that you like. You can add mostly salt with a little sugar or mostly brown sugar with a little salt. Then kick it up with some spice like cayenne pepper or red pepper seeds.

Finally fill in with some garlic and/or onion powder. Use what ever you have in your cabinet. Make different versions and experiment with separate meats.Either way Its hard to go wrong with good barbecue dry rub recipes. Enjoy yourself and have fun.
